Prayer for Healing

Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace.  You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners.

I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels.  Because you are the "medicine of God" I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body.  I especially ask of you the favor (here mention your special intention), and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

 

 

St. Raphael Ministry is a pastoral care/health and wellness outreach program that focuses on the visitation and care of the sick and elderly in our parish.  This ministry can include any health care professional (doctors, RNs, LPNs, EMTs), as well as Extra Ordinary Ministers, dedicated seniors and other volunteers, and centers around visitations to those in our parish and community who are homebound and in need of prayer, care, and just a friendly hello! Anyone can do it!

Another win for Grace Barker...this time a beautifully handmade afghan from the parish's Knitting Club!

This bag was handmade by Sharyn Drollinger, owner of Blooming Designs, in Stafford, Virginia.  Sharyn has made many different items for St. Raphael Ministry and Sr. Mary Lou at St. William of York Catholic Church in Virginia.

Blood Drive

Ministry volunteers visited 15 homebound residents of Ptak Towers on Ash Wednesday, and also made several visits to neighboring towns to parishioners who were unable to attend Mass for ashes.
